The present invention refers to conjugates formed by a natural or modified oligonucleotide, capable of forming a triple helix with a DNA chain, linked to the aglycone moiety of an anthracycline or to an anthracyclinone via an appropriated linker; such conjugates are capable to bind selectively to specific DNA regions inhibiting their transcription and therefore the formation of the corresponding codified protein.
La présente invention se rapporte à des conjugués obtenus par un oligonucléotide naturel ou modifié capable de former une triple hélice avec une chaîne d'ADN liée à la fraction aglycone d'une anthracycline ou à une anthracyclinone par un segment de liaison approprié. Ces conjugués peuvent se fixer sélectivement à des régions d'ADN spécifiques inhibant leur transcription et par conséquent la formation de la protéine codifiée correspondante.
