A method for the production of tetrachloropalladic acid and bis(acetonitrile) palladium dichloride is described. Palladium metal is reacted with concentrated hydrochloric acid and chlorine to produce the acid which is converted to bis(acetonitrile) palladium dichloride by reaction with acetonitrile.

Procédé de production d'acide tétrachloropalladique et de dichlorure de bis(acétonitrile) palladium. Le palladium sous forme métallique est soumis à une réaction avec de l'acide chlorhydrique concentré et du chlore pour obtenir l'acide qui est converti en dichlorure de bis(acétonitrile) palladium par réaction avec l'acétonitrile.
