A pair of guiding elements is characterized in that at least one of its elements is made of a steel containing at least 0.15 to 0.3 % by weight of carbon, 2 to 5 % (preferably 2 to 3%) by weight of chromium, at least 0.45 % (preferably no greater than 0.9%) by weight of molybdenum, and at least 0.01 % by weight and no greater than 0.5 % (preferably no greater than 0.3%) of vanadium. This steel is nitrided after being shaped whereby obtaining a compound layer consisting of iron and nitrogen atoms of a thickness ranging from 5 to 50 micrometers. The steel can also contain 0.4 % to 1.5 % by weight of manganese.
Un couple d'organes de guidage est caractérisé en ce qu'au moins l'un de ses organes est réalisé en un acier contenant au moins du carbone entre 0.15 et 0.3 % en poids, du chrome entre 2 et 5 % en poids (de préférence entre 2% et 3%), au moins 0.45 % en poids de molybdène (de préférence au plus 0.9% en poids), et du vanadium à raison de plus de 0.01 % en poids et au plus 0.5% (de préférence au plus 0.3%), et que cet acier est nitruré après mise en forme, en sorte d'obtenir une couche de combinaison entre des atomes de fer et d'azote d'épaisseur comprise entre 5 microns et 50 microns. Il peut comporter en outre entre 0.4% en poids et 1.5% en poids de manganèse.
