Description

A system and method of filtering and re-claiming water is provided. Waste water is pumped from the surface of a pool or pond cover, or from discharge resulting from a backwash process, into a portable filtration apparatus and filtered through a filter device of the portable filtration apparatus. The filter device includes at least one filter and a strainer which is removable from the apparatus. The filtered and re-claimed water then exits the portable filtration apparatus and is used to re-fill the pool or pond. Also provided is a portable filtration apparatus.
