The safety closing system (10) brings the shaft door panel (1) into a closed setting in the absence of an opening force. The safety closing system (10) comprises, as drive, a spring (14) which is stressed in the open setting of the shaft door panel (1) and a drive mass (12) which is subject to gravitational force, the spring and mass being coupled with the shaft door panel (1).
