Method and apparatus for setting the contact elements (test pins) of a printed circuit board test device, which are accomodated in one or two test adapters, to the contact points, provided on one or both sides, of a printed circuit board (series) to be tested, wherein said printed circuit board (series) comprises various subsets of contact points and suitable alignment means with respect to the adapters, in particular two reference holes or reference edges. The new and inventive feature is considered to consist in the fact that at least one subset of the contact elements (S) of one or both adaptors (BF, BA TF, TA), independently of at least one further subset of the contact elements (H), and the alignment means (T) of one or both adapters are set relative to one another.

Procédé et dispositif destinés à régler des éléments de contact (broches d'essai) d'un dispositif d'essai de plaquettes de circuits imprimés, ces éléments étant logés dans un ou deux adaptateur(s) d'essai, afin que lesdits éléments viennent se placer sur des points de contact ménagés sur un côté ou sur les deux côtés d'une plaquette de circuits imprimés (de série) destinée à être contrôlée, cette plaquette comprenant plusieurs sous-ensembles de points de contact ainsi que des moyens d'alignement appropriés par rapport aux adaptateurs, en particulier deux trous de référence ou bords de référence. Cette caractéristique nouvelle et inventive consiste essentiellement en ce qu'au moins un sous-ensemble des éléments de contact (S) de l'un ou des deux adaptateur(s) (BF, FA; TF; TA), indépendamment d'au moins un autre sous-ensemble desdits éléments (H), ainsi que des moyens d'alignement (T) de l'un ou des deux adaptateur(s) est (sont) réglé(s) l'un par rapport à l'autre.
