Disclosed is a system and method for treatment of cells and, in particular, visual pathway disorders. More particularly, the disclosed invention is directed toward the photomodulation and/or photorejuvenation of retinal epithelial cells, to treat a variety of vision disorders. The process of treating retinal cells to reduce or reverse the effects of visual pathway disorders employs a narrowband source of multichromatic light applied to the retinal cells to deliver a very low energy fluence.
La présente invention concerne un système et un procédé de traitement de cellules et, notamment, des troubles des voies optiques. Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne la photomodulation et/ou le rajeunissement par la lumière des cellules épithéliales rétiniennes, pour le traitement d'une variété de troubles de la vision. Le procédé de traitement de cellules rétiniennes permettant la réduction ou l'inversion des effets de troubles des voies optiques utilise une source de bande étroite de lumière multichromatique appliquée aux cellules rétiniennes afin de délivrer une fluence de particules de très faible énergie.
