ABSTRACT A process for removal of oils from the skinned, oily fish skin specimen generally starts with the afore prepared head, gills, body skin, tail and all fins including fleshy skin fins such as an adipose or other fleshy protruberances, or 100 % of external skin covering of a fish. This will be fleshed clean prior to immersion in a first soak in a solution comprizing 70 % H2O, an astringent, a light water mine- eble solvent , a heavy oil solvent, an antiseptic, and a small amount of laquer thinner, in a banance to form a solution. A good formula is Water, Acetone, Alchohol, White Gas, Machalite Green, and Laquer thinner as a general cleaning and blood leaching first immertion, with a formula temperature between 60 to 65 degrees being preferred. A Second immersion in an oil removal formula comprizing a much reduced H2O volume, rather a formula with a water mincable fish oil solvent, an astringent, a second astringent, a heavy oil solvent, a medium oil solvent, an antiseptic, and 10 % by volume H2O A good formula is Acetone, Alchohol, Glycol, Gasoline. White Gas, Machalite Green, and H2O maintained at a solution temperature of 90 to 100 degrees farenhieght. A third immersion in a conditioning an cleaning formula comprizing a light water minceble fish oil solvent an astringent, an antiseptics an oil based insectiside, and a general preseravtive. Again a good formula is Comprizing; Acetone, Water H2O, Alchol, Machalite Green and Bactine, Raid, and Formaldehyde, maintained at a formula temperatur farenhight of 80 degrees. Removal and immersion in a forth solution comprizing; H2O; a good commercial tan, and Oxalic Acid. Chrome Tan is a good brand
