In general, the present invention provides compositions for the cellular delivery of nucleic acids, polypeptides and/or flourophores, molecular complexes comprising fluorescent molecules or moieties, nucleic acids and polypeptides, and methods of making and using such compositions. Light- activated dispersal of the complexes leads to the intracellular release of one or more nucleic acids and/or peptides from the compositions or complexes. The biological activities of nucleic acids, polypeptides and flourophores may be repressed within the complexes, and these activities are restored upon release from the complexes.
L'invention porte de manière générale: sur des compositions favorisant la production par des cellules d'acides nucléiques, de polypeptides et/ou de fluorophores, sur des complexes moléculaires comprenant des molécules ou fragments fluorescents, des acides nucléiques et des polypeptides, et sur des procédés d'obtention et d'utilisation de ces compositions. La dispersion de ces complexes sous l'action de la lumière provoque la libération d'un ou plusieurs acides nucléiques et/ou peptides. Les activités biologiques des acides nucléiques polypeptides et/ou fluorophores, qui peuvent être réprimée lorsqu'ils se trouvent à l'intérieur des complexes, se rétablissent lors de leur libération.
