The invention relates to a polymer having at least one group derived from a carboxylic ester of a hydroxyalkylamide and an .alpha., .beta.-ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid and a radiation curable composition comprising this polymer. A coating composition comprising this composition has a high rate of polymerisation and results in coatings having the desired chemical and mechanical properties.

L'invention concerne un polymère comprenant au moins un groupe dérivé d'un ester carboxylique d'un hydroxyalkylamide et d'un acide carboxylique insaturé en .alpha., .beta.-éthylène et une composition durcissable par radiation comprenant ledit polymère. Une composition de revêtement comprenant ladite composition présente une vitesse de polymérisation élevée et permet la production de revêtements possédant les propriétés chimiques et mécaniques voulues.
