System for girding an article with a strip of adhesive tape. The system comprises a girding device and a roll of adhesive tape (8), and if desired also a roll of paper tape (10). The girding device comprises a housing (4) provided with a slot (5) which is intended for moving the article through it, and means for rotatably supporting the roll of adhesive tape, and also the roll of paper tape if present. At one side of the slot lies a star wheel (11) with spokes which extend over the slot and are separated by recesses which are suitable for accommodating the article when it is being moved through the slot and passes the star wheel in the process. The girding device and the roll of adhesive tape and/or the roll of paper tape are designed in such a way that the roll in question can be placed in only one position in the girding device.
L'invention concerne un système pour entourer un article avec une bande adhésive. Ce système comprend un dispositif applicateur et un rouleau de bande adhésive (8) et, lorsque cela est souhaité, également un rouleau de bande de papier (10). Le dispositif applicateur comprend un logement (4) pourvu d'une fente (5), qui est destiné à supporter en rotation le rouleau de bande adhésive et également le rouleau de bande de papier, lorsqu'il est présent. Sur un côté de la fente, il y a une roue (11) portant des bras en forme d'étoile qui font saillie dans la fente et qui sont séparés par des creux permettant de recevoir l'article qui se déplace dans la fente en passant au droit de la roue portant des bras.
