A fusible collar (1) for securing sutures (13) without knots, and for securing living tissular structures together without sutures. The fusible collar (1) is made of a compressible material, and is formed generally in a "c" shape which can be compressed into an "o" shape, with portions of the collar overlapping around the structures to be secured. Energy is applied to the overlapping portions of the collar (1) to cause localized heating and plastic flow so as to fuse the overlapped portions together. The collar (1) can include one or more energy directors (14) on a contact surface to direct, and focus energy to particular regions so as to effect collar to suture welding.
L'invention concerne un collier thermofusible (1) qui permet de réaliser des sutures (13) sans noeuds, et de fixer des structures tissulaires vivantes sans suture. Le collier thermofusible (1) est en matériau compressible, ayant généralement une forme en "c", et il peut être comprimé sous forme de "o", sachant que des parties du collier chevauchent le pourtour des structures à fixer. On applique une énergie auxdites parties du collier (1), de manière à produire un échauffement localisé et un flux de matière plastique, ce qui permet d'assurer le thermocollage des parties considérées. Le collier (1) peut comprendre un ou plusieurs éléments d'orientation de l'énergie (14) sur une surface de contact, de manière à orienter et à concentrer l'énergie vers des zones particulières, moyennant quoi on peut réaliser le soudage collier sur suture.
