The invention provides a process for the conversion of an extracted carboxylic acid to a non-ionized derivative thereof, comprising contacting a carboxylic acid containing aqueous solution with a water-insoluble amine solvent, to recover acid therefrom and to form an extract carrying amine-bound carboxylic acid, characterized in that said extract is contacted with a con-centrated aqueous solution of said same acid of high concentration, whereby additional acid is transferred to said extract to form a loaded extract and said loaded extract is reacted to form a non-ionized derivative of said acid, by reactions known per se, whereby said acid is converted into a non-ionised derivative form and said amine solvent is liberated for recycling.
La présente invention concerne un processus de transformation d'un acide carboxylique extrait en dérivé non ionisé de celui-ci. Ce procédé consiste à mettre en contact un acide carboxylique contenant une solution aqueuse avec un solvant aminique non soluble dans l'eau, à en récupérer l'acide et à former un extrait portant de l'acide carboxylique lié par amine, caractérisé par le fait que cet extrait est mis en contact avec une solution aqueuse concentrée de ce même acide de grande concentration. L'acide additionnel est transféré dans cet extrait de façon à former un extrait chargé et on fait réagir cet extrait chargé de façon à former un dérivé non ionisé de cet acide par des réactions intrinsèquement connues, par lesquelles cet acide est transformé en une forme dérivée non ionisée et ce solvant aminique est libéré en vue d'un recyclage.
