The invention relates to an appliance for the continuous photocatalytic purification of the air in a room, said appliance preferably being in the form of a wall (1) and comprising an external steel structure, an opening (11) for the admission of the air to be processed, an internal metallic framework (4) to which a plurality of UVA lamps (3) are fixed, a photocatalytic filter (2), and an opening (12) for discharging the purified air. The inventive appliance is characterised in that the photocatalytic filter comprises at least one metal grating (2) covered by a film containing titanium dioxide (TiO2 ), mainly in an anatase phase, in order to maximise the surface of the photocatalyst illuminated by the UVA light.
La présente invention se rapporte à un appareil de purification photocatalytique en continu de l~air d~une pièce d~habitation, se présentant de préférence sous forme d~un paroi murale (1), comprenant une structure externe en acier, un ouverture (11) pour l~entrée de l~air à traiter, une ossature métallique interne (4) sur laquelle est fixée une pluralité de lampes UVA (3), un filtre photocatalytique (2) et une ouverture (12) pour la sortie de l~air purifié, caractérisé en ce que le filtre photocatalytique comprend au moins une grille (2) en métal déployé recouverte d~un film comprenant du dioxyde de titane (TiO¿2?), majoritairement en phase anatase pour maximiser la surface de photocatalyseur éclairée par la lumière UVA.
