A fluid delivery device (10) comprising a chamber (12) or electrode (30, 32), wherein the chamber (12) or electrode (30) is capable of containing a chemical (20) and/or electrochemical reagent which expands upon a chemical reaction of the same. The expansion, in turn, displaces a displaceable member (16) which facilitates delivery of fluid (22) from an associated reservoir (14).
