An energy-sensitive (e.g., thermal, radiation or photosensitive) initiator, curative, and/or catalytic salt that has an anion comprising a tris-(highly fluorinated alkylsulfonyl)methide, tris-(fluorinated arylsulfonyl)methide, bis- (highly fluorinated alkyl)sulfonyl imide, bis-(fluorinated aryl)sulfonyl imide, mixed aryl- and alkylsulfonyl imides and methides and any combinations thereof, has improved solubility in organic solvents, exhibits minimal corrosiveness when coatings and adhesives are prepared using the initiator, curative and/or catalytic salts, generates a highly reactive initiator, curative, and/or catalyst upon activation by energy.

L'invention porte sur un sel, initiateur sensible à l'énergie (par exemple, thermosensible, sensible au rayonnement ou photosensible), agent durcissant et/ou catalyseur, comportant un anion comprenant un tris-(alkylsulfonyl hautement fluoré)méthide, tris-(arylsulfonyl fluoré)méthide, bis-(alkyle hautement fluoré)sulfonylimide, bis-(aryle fluoré) sulfonylimide, des aryl- et alkylsulfonylimides et des méthides mêlés et n'importe laquelle de leurs combinaisons. Ce sel, qui présente une solubilité améliorée dans des solvants organiques, une corrosivité minimale lorsqu'il entre dans l'élaboration de revêtements et d'adhésifs, se comporte comme un initiateur hautement réactif, comme un agent durcissant et/ou un catalyseur dès son activation par de l'énergie.
