A vertical condenser is installed on or above a urea synthesis column to condense the mixed gas from the stripper by bringing it into contact with an absorption medium under cooling. A first down pipe for making the top part of the condenser communicate with the bottom part of the synthesis column is provided to allow the resultant condensate to flow down to the bottom part of the synthesis column by gravity. The condensate is subjected to area synthesis together with feed ammonia or a part of feed carbon dioxide supplied thereto. The urea synthesis solution thus formed is introduced into the stripper by gravity through a second down pipe having an opening in the top part of the synthesis column. Unreacted ammonia and carbon dioxide are separated as the aforesaid mixed gas by the rest of the feed carbon dioxide and introduced into the bottom part of the aforesaid condenser so as to be condensed. Alternatively, the condensate form the vertical condenser is sucked by means of an ejector fluid, so that it is introduced into the bottom part of the urea synthesis column and is subjected to urea synthesis.
Un condenseur vertical est installé sur une colonne de synthèse d'urée, ou au-dessus, pour condenser le gaz mixte provenant de la colonne d'épuration en le mettant en contact avec un milieu d'absorption sous refroidissement. Un premier tuyau de descente servant à faire communiquer la partie supérieure du condenseur avec la partie inférieure de la colonne de synthèse est prévu pour permettre au condensat obtenu de s'écouler par gravité dans la partie inférieure de la colonne de synthèse. Le condensat est soumis à une synthèse de zone avec l'ammoniac d'alimentation ou une partie du dioxyde de carbone d'alimentation de la colonne. La solution de synthèse d'urée ainsi formée est introduite par gravité dans la colonne d'épuration par l'intermédiaire d'un second tuyau de descente ayant une ouverture dans la partie supérieure de la colonne de synthèse. L'ammoniac et le dioxyde de carbone n'ayant pas réagi sont séparés, sous forme de gaz mixte susmentionné, par le reste du dioxyde de carbone d'alimentation et introduits dans la partie inférieure dudit condenseur pour y être condensés. Autre possibilité, le condensat formé dans le condenseur vertical est aspiré au moyen d'un fluide éjecteur, de sorte qu'il est introduit dans la partie inférieure de la colonne de synthèse d'urée et est soumis à la synthèse d'urée.
