The invention relates to a plate link chain which is used as a conveyor chain, especially for a bucket elevator or similar conveying means, and which is comprised of at least two parallel strands of individual plates arranged as inner plates and outer plates (11). The individual plates are connected to one another by chain pins (13) which are arranged in a transversal manner with regard to the plane of the plate. At least one additional plate is arranged between two adjacent chain pins (13) on the outer side of the corresponding outer plate (11) of a chain strand. One end of said additional plate (16) is placed on one chain pin (13), and the other end is placed on the adjacent chain pin (13). The inventive plate link chain should make it possible to determine the elongation of the chain. To this end, the invention provides that the additional plate (16) is configured as an inspection plate (16) for showing the occurrence of an elongation of the chain. The inspection plate (16) rests with the recess thereof on the chain pin (13) and pivots out of the plane of the plate in the instance of a corresponding elongation of the chain.
L'invention concerne une chaîne articulée servant de chaîne transporteuse, notamment pour une chaîne à godet ou un moyen de transport similaire. Cette chaîne articulée comprend au moins deux lignes parallèles de maillons individuels placés sous forme de maillons intérieurs et de maillons extérieurs (11). Les maillons individuels sont raccordés entre eux au moyen de tourillons de chaîne (13) placés transversalement au plan des maillons. Au moins un maillon supplémentaire (16) est placé entre deux tourillons de chaîne (13) adjacents, sur le côté extérieur du maillon extérieur (11) correspondant d'une ligne de chaîne. Ce maillon supplémentaire est monté, à l'une de ses extrémités, sur un tourillon de chaîne (13) et prend appui, à l'autre extrémité, sur le tourillon de chaîne (13) adjacent. L'invention vise à créer une chaîne articulée offrant la possibilité de constater un allongement de la chaîne. A cet effet, le maillon supplémentaire (16) se présente sous la forme d'un maillon de contrôle (16) permettant de mettre en évidence un allongement de la chaîne. Ce maillon supplémentaire (16) prend appui avec son évidement sur le tourillon de chaîne (13) et pivote hors du plan de maillon, en cas d'allongement correspondant de la chaîne.
