A particle is dis-closed. The particle comprising: (i) at least one inner core which com-prises a solid matrix of nutrients for microorganism growth; (ii) an inner membrane being fabricated from a water-soluble polymer, the inner membrane surrounding the inner core and a population of dried mi-croorganisms; and (iii) an outer porous membrane surrounding the inner membrane, the outer porous membrane being insoluble in water. Methods of generating same, propa-gating microorganisms within and uses of same are also disclosed.
Cette invention concerne une particule comprenant (i) au moins un cur interne contenant une matrice solide de nutriments pour la croissance des micro-organismes; (ii) une membrane interne fabriquée à partir d'un polymère hydrosoluble, la membrane interne entourant le cur interne et une population de micro-organismes secs; et (iii) une membrane poreuse externe entourant la membrane interne, la membrane poreuse externe étant insoluble dans l'eau. L'invention concerne également des procédés de génération, de propagation et d'utilisation de ces micro-organismes.
