Disclosed is a novel anti-tumor agent which does not induce any serious adverse side effect or drug resistance which is a disadvantage of conventional anti-tumor agents and shows a high therapeutic index. Particularly disclosed is a novel therapeutic agent or therapeutic method which is effective on pancreatic cancer on which there is found no effective therapeutic method or chemotherapeutic agent at the present time and can prevent cancerous metastasis and invasion. An anti-cancer agent, particularly a therapeutic agent for pancreatic cancer or cancer metastasis preventive agent, comprising 6'-amidino-2'-naphthyl4-guanidinobenzoate or a salt thereof, particularly nafamostat mesilate (also known under the general names "Futhan", "FUT" and "FUT175") which is a mesilate thereof as an active ingredient; and use of the anti-tumor agent such as FUT in combination with a conventional anti-cancer or anti-tumor agent, particularly preferably gemcitabine hydrochloride.
La présente invention concerne un nouvel agent antitumoral qui n'induit pas d'effet indésirable grave ou de résistance aux médicaments, contrairement aux agents antitumoraux classiques, et qui présente un indice thérapeutique élevé. Cette invention concerne en particulier un nouvel agent thérapeutique ou une nouvelle méthode thérapeutique qui est efficace sur le cancer du pancréas pour lequel aucune méthode thérapeutique ou agent chimiothérapeutique efficace n'existe à ce jour et qui peut prévenir la métastase et l'invasion du cancer. Un agent anticancéreux, en particulier un agent thérapeutique pour le cancer du pancréas ou un agent de prévention des métastases du cancer, comprenant du 6'-amidino-2'-naphthyl4-guanidinobenzoate ou un sel de celui-ci, en particulier du mésilate de nafamostat (aussi connu sous les noms généraux de "Futhan", "FUT" et "FUT175"), qui est un mésilate de celui-ci, comme ingrédient actif. Cette invention concerne également l'utilisation de l'agent antitumoral tel que FUT en combinaison avec un agent anticancéreux ou antitumoral conventionnel, en particulier de préférence le chlorhydrate de gemcitabine.
