Description

Process for the preparation of crystalline vinylaromatic polymers with a high degree of syndiotacticity which comprises polymerizing vinylaromatic monomers in the presence of a catalytic system essentially consisting of: a) a complex of titanium selected from those having the general formula: (CpR1R2R3R4R5)TiX3 (I) wherein the groups R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 represent a hydrogen atom or C1-C10 alkyl groups; X represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen such as chlorine, a C1-C10 alkyl or oxyalkyl radical or a C6-C12 oxyaryl radical; b) an alkylaluminoxane; and c) an organic derivative of tin; characterized in that the alkylaluminoxane is methyl-aluminoxane (MAO) treated at 20-80°C under vacuum for 1-100 hours and the organic derivative of tin is tin tetraphenyl.

Procédé pour la préparation de polymères vinyliques aromatiques cristallins ayant un haut degré de syndiotacticité qui comprend la polymérisation de monomères vinyliques aromatiques en présence d'un système catalytique essentiellement constitué : a) d'un complexe de titane choisi parmi ceux de formule générale : (CpR1R2R3R4R5)TiX3 (I) où les groupes R1, R2, R3, R4 et R5 représentent un atome d'hydrogène ou des groupes alkyle en C1-C10; X représente un atome d'hydrogène, un halogène tel le chlore, un radical alkyle ou oxyalkyle en C1-C10 ou un radical oxyaryle en C6-C12; b) d'un alkyl-aluminoxane; et c) d'un dérivé organique de l'étain; caractérisés par le fait que l'alkyl-aluminoxane est le méthyl-aluminoxane (MAO) traité à 20-80 degrés C sous vide pendant 1-100 heures et le dérivé organique de l'étain est le tétraphényl-étain.
