An interface, apparatus, and method are described for communication between a radio equipment control (REC) node and first and second radio equipment (RE) nodes in a radio base station that transceives information over radio interface using multiple antenna carriers. The REC node is separate from and coupled to the first RE node by a first transmission link, and the second RE node coupled to the first RE by a second transmission link. Both control information and user information intended for communication between the REC node and the first RE node and the REC and the second RE node are conveyed over the first transmission link. The first RE node also conveys information between the REC and second RE node. Many advantageous features are described.
L'invention concerne une interface, un appareil et un procédé destinés à la communication entre un noeud de commande d'équipement radio (REC) et des premier et second noeuds d'équipement radio (RE) dans une station de base radio qui sert à recevoir et à émettre des informations par l'intermédiaire d'une interface radio utilisant plusieurs ondes porteuses d'antennes. Le noeud de commande d'équipement radio est séparé du premier noeud d'équipement radio et couplé à ce dernier par une première liaison de transmission et le second noeud d'équipement radio est couplé au premier noeud d'équipement radio par une seconde liaison de transmission. Des informations de commande et d'utilisateur destinées à une communication entre le noeud de commande d'équipement radio et le premier noeud d'équipement radio et le second noeud d'équipement radio sont acheminées par la première liaison de transmission. Le premier noeud d'équipement radio sert aussi à acheminer des informations entre le noeud de commande d'équipement radio et le second noeud d'équipement radio. Cette invention a aussi trait à plusieurs caractéristiques avantageuses.
