A clock kit includes an outside casing into which is fitted a dial, partially finished, to be finished by the assembler of the clock kit. The clock mechanism includes a fixed member, through which passes nested drive shafts onto which the hands are attached. The fixed member passes through holes in the centre of both the dial and the casing. The dials can be of various materials.
