APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING IMAGES ON SENSITIZED SURFACES ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An apparatus and method of producing images on a sensitized surface by energy traveling as wave motion propagated by periodic variations is radiated from light emitting materials is provided. One embodiment of the invention produces images differentiable from otherwise identical images by describing the images produced on the sensitized surface in terms of hue, lightness (or optical density) and saturation, whereas the same embodiment of the invention may also be used to produce images produced on the sensitized surface in terms of light- ness only.
