The present invention regards a process for the production of an aqueous solution comprising urea for use in the removal of nitrogen oxides from combustion gas or fumes, the process being characterised in that it comprises the steps of : - subjecting at least a part of a urea-concentrated aqueous solution comprising residual free ammonia, obtained directly from or downstream of a recovery section of a plant for the production of urea, to washing with carbon dioxide, so obtaining a first vapour phase comprising carbon dioxide and optionally ammonia and a urea-concentrated aqueous solution comprising carbamate and essentially lacking in free ammonia, and - diluting said urea-concentrated aqueous solution comprising carbamate and essentially lacking in free ammonia with water until the desired concentration of urea in aqueous solution is reached.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de production d'une solution aqueuse comportant de l'urée destinée à être utilisée dans l'élimination d'oxydes d'azote à partir de gaz ou de fumées de combustion, le procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend les étapes suivantes: le traitement d'au moins une partie de solution aqueuse à concentration d'urée comprenant de l'ammoniac exempt de résidu, obtenue directement à partir ou en aval d'une section de récupération d'une installation pour la production d'urée, par un lavage au dioxyde de carbone, permettant ainsi d'obtenir une première phase vapeur comprenant du dioxyde de carbone et éventuellement de l'ammoniac et une solution aqueuse à concentration d'urée comprenant du carbamate et sensiblement exempte d'ammoniac libre ; et la dilution de ladite solution aqueuse à concentration d'urée comprenant du carbamate sensiblement exempte d'ammoniac libre avec de l'eau jusqu'à l'obtention de la concentration souhaitée d'urée dans la solution aqueuse.
