A saddle clamp for mounting on a bone with curved surface in a bone-fixing or spinal fusion operation, for carrying a bone-fixing member. The saddle clamp has a rigid body with at least two holes for passing fixing elements to be tightened to the bone and at least one assembly element integral with the body for attaching the bone-fixing member. The rigid body has a contact surface configured to allow at least three points of contact with the curved surface of the bone when the saddle clamp is mounted thereon, at least two of the holes passing through the contact surface at least adjacent to two of the points of contact so as to provide, upon tightening of the fixing elements, at least three spaced apart, non-collinear areas of contact and thereby firm attachment of the saddle clamp to the bone.
L'invention concerne une pince incurvée à monter sur un os présentant une surface courbée au cours d'une opération de fixation osseuse ou de fusion des vertèbres. Cette pince incurvée possède un corps rigide doté d'au moins deux orifices afin de faire passer les éléments de fixation à serrer sur l'os et d'au moins un élément d'ensemble solidaire du corps afin de fixer l'élément de fixation à l'os. Ce corps rigide présente une surface de contact configurée de manière à recevoir au moins trois points de contact avec la surface courbée de l'os lorsque le pince incurvée est montée dessus, au moins deux des orifices passant à travers la surface de contact située au moins contre deux des points de contact de manière à fournir, lors du serrage des éléments de fixation, au moins trois zones de contact non alignées et espacées, et à fixer ainsi fermement la pince incurvée à l'os.
