The invention concerns a profiled dressing cylinder (1) for grinder wheels, the dressing cylinder having a main body and diamond or boron nitride cutters. The main body has teeth (2) with cutting edges (6). The cutting edges (6) are coated with a layer (3) of diamonds using a CVD process. The teeth may have a curved cross-section (2). This makes it possible to prepare a dressing cylinder using only a relatively small amount of diamond, and almost all the diamond is used up.

La présente invention concerne un rouleau à dresser profilé (1) pour meules. Il comporte un corps de base et des éléments coupants en diamant ou nitrure de bore. Le corps de base porte des dents (2) munies d'arêtes de coupe (6) dont la garniture de coupe est un revêtement diamanté (3) déposé selon un procédé de dépot chimique en phase gazeuse. Les dents peuvent présenter un profil courbe (2). Il ne faut qu'une proportion de diamant minime pour réaliser un rouleau à dresser profilé, cette quantité de diamant pouvant être presque entièrement usée.
