A rotary cutting device suitable for stump grinding comprises a power shaft (12) having a fixed annular flange (14), a segmented tool carrier removably mounted to the flange and constituted by plural segments (16, 18, 20, 22) which together form a disc. Each of the segments (16, 18, 20, 22) of the tool carrier have a hub portion (24) and a unitary arm (32, 34, 36) that extends out radially from the hub. Cutting tools are mounted to each arm and together provide a cutting tool array about the periphery of the cutting device.

La présente invention concerne un dispositif de coupe rotatif adapté à la coupe de souche. Ce dispositif comprend un arbre (12) moteur équipé d'une bride (14) circulaire fixe et un porte-outil segmenté, monté détachable sur la bride, constitué de plusieurs segments (16, 18, 20, 22) qui, réunis, forment un disque. Chacun des segments (16, 18, 20, 22) du porte-outil présente une partie (24) de moyeu et un bras (32, 34, 36) qui s'étend radialement du moyeu. Des outils de coupe montés sur chaque bras forment ensemble, à la périphérie, un outil de coupe dudit dispositif.
