Processes are provided for recovering precious metals from refractory materials using thiosulfate lixiviants. The processes can employ heap leaching and lixiviants that include one or more blinding agents. The processes can employ contacting a pregnant leach solution and/or a solution derived therefrom with a sulfide reagent to form metal sulfide precipitates and elemental sulfur. The processes can further employ converting at least most of the elemental sulfur into thiosulfate by contacting the elemental sulfur with a sulfite reagent.
L'invention concerne des procédés permettant de récupérer des métaux précieux à partir de matériaux réfractaires au moyen de lixiviants au thiosulfate. Dans ces procédés, on peut utiliser une lixiviation en tas ou des lixiviants renfermant au moins un agent masquant. Les processus peuvent mettre en contact une solution de lixiviation mère et/ou une solution dérivée de celle-ci avec un réactif de sulfure pour former des précipités de sulfure métalliques et du soufre élémentaire. Les processus peuvent en outre convertir au moins une grande partie du soufre élémentaire en thiosulfate en mettant en contact le soufre élémentaire avec un réactif de sulfure.
