A molded plastic drum storage and/or transportation device has an inner wall conforming to a drum to be carried or stored. An outer wall is spaced from the inner wall to create a containment space therebetween. One end of the cart has a recess for collecting spills or overflow from the drum. Apertures in the recess allow fluid to flow into the containment space where it is held until emptied through a drain hole. According to one aspect of this invention, the device is tiltable and has wheels to facilitate transport of the drum. According to another aspect of the invention, the device is stationary and is adapted to store multiple drums in spaced horizontal adjacency and, with a drum spacer, in spaced vertical adjacency.

Un dispositif de plastique moulé pour l'entreposage et (ou) le transport de barils est muni d'une paroi interne adaptée pour y transporter ou y entreposer un baril. Une paroi externe est espacée de la paroi interne de manière à créer un espace de confinement entre les deux. Une des extrémités du chariot est dotée d'une cavité pour y recueillir les déversements ou les trop-pleins provenant des barils. Des ouvertures dans la cavité permettent au liquide de s'écouler dans l'espace de confinement où il sera gardé jusqu'à ce qu'il soit vidé dans un trou de drainage. Selon un aspect de cette invention, l'appareil est basculable et est muni de roues pour faciliter le transport des barils. D'après un autre aspect de l'invention, l'appareil est immobile et adapté pour entreposer plusieurs barils côte à côte horizontalement, ou avec un séparateur de barils, disposés un par-dessus l'autre à la verticale.
