The present invention is related to a recombinant eucaryote cell or organism having incorporated in its genome a genetic construct made of at least one nucleotide sequence encoding a toxic gene (TOX) under the control of an inducible promoter/operator genetic sequence and possibly a selectable marker. The present invention is also related to a production and selection method of genetically modified eucaryote cells or organisms having integrated into their genome foreigner (exogenous) DNA fragment(s) by using said recombinant eucaryote cells or organisms.

L'invention concerne une cellule ou un organisme eucaryote recombinant ayant intégré dans son génome une construction génétique, constituée d'au moins une séquence nucléotidique codant pour un gène toxique (TOX) sous la régulation d'une séquence génétique de promoteur/opérateur inductible et éventuellement d'un marqueur sélectionnable. L'invention concerne aussi un procédé de production et de sélection de cellules ou d'organismes eucaryotes génétiquement modifiés ayant intégré dans leur génome des fragments d'ADN étranger (exogène) au moyen de ces cellules ou organismes eucaryotes recombinants.
