When chewing on a tasteless rubber tube as shown on the sketch, one produces saliva which is expelled instead of swallowed. Saliva, which is produced by body organs, has energy. The body produces 2.5 quarts of saliva daily. Saliva is not replaced by drinking water as it is a different circuit and water is soon used up by body functions. Chewing this substance produces saliva which is expelled into Kleenex or otherwise spat out. This process can reduce the body weight by over one ounce per hour. Such a method would be very useful for jockeys, boxers, or aeroplane attendants. Chewing on this substance tones up facial muscles, eliminates turkey neck and cleanses the teeth. As the teeth do not come together when chewing this substance, there is no wearing of tooth enamel as occurs when chewing gum
