Artificial ground can be utilized in green of a golf course or the ground unsuitable for cultivation. The artificial ground includes a collection layer having an inclined sheet member capable of collecting liquid agricultural chemicals or water, a soil supporting layer having a water-penetrative soil supporting member disposed on the collection layer, and an artificial soil layer having artificial soil disposed on the soil supporting layer, for example, the artificial soil containing as a main component remainder of fermentation material which is subjected to at least control of water and combined with at least one or two additives required for soil constitution.
