"Standard folding walkers, which are aluminum frames utilized to stabilize individuals while walking, are known to have rubber tips on the rear legs. The rubber tips require that the walker be lifted off the ground to move in any direction. In this invention, the rubber tips are removed and a one piece, round plastic glide, with beveled edges, is inserted into the walker member. This glide will allow the walker to move easily in any direction without lifting or catching on carpets, tiles or concrete." "The one piece construction of the glide, with a ribbed insert plug, means that it can be mounted to the walker frame quickly by simply pushing it into the walker frame; no tools are necessary. Other products require mounting with screws which is extremely time consuming."
