A method is described for configuring a system (1) having a plurality of processors (2) to provide the system with at least one cluster of processors, where each cluster has one service point (10). A distance is computed from each processor to other processors in the system (302). A plurality of total distances is then computed (303), where each total distance is associated with one processor. A minimum total distance is determined from the plurality of total distances (304). One processor is assigned to be the service point; this processor is the processor having the minimum total distance associated therewith.

L'invention porte sur un procédé visant à configurer un système (1) possédant une pluralité de processeurs (2) de façon à doter le système d'au moins un groupe de processeurs, chaque groupe possédant un point de services (10). Ce procédé consiste à calculer la distance entre chaque processeur du système (302), pus à calculer (303) plusieurs distances totales, chaque distance totale étant associée à un processeur. On détermine une distance totale minimum à partir de la pluralité de distances totales (304). On affecte un processeur au point services, ce processeur étant auquel est associé la distance totale minimum.
