A therapeutic device and method for use thereof for treatment of blood flow disorders is disclosed. In one embodiment, a first line emergency response sys-tem for treatment of acute thrombotic and / or vasospastic vascular obstructions via the noninvasive application of low frequency vibration with at least one, and preferably a plurality of randomly administered vibratory waveform characteristics (herein after "Randomic Vibration") is de-tailed. The disclosed apparatus and methods are based on the intuition that transcutaneously imparted low frequency randomic vibration can provide enhanced clot disruption and mixing of clot disruptive agents to acutely thrombosed vessels, due to the addition of mechanical chaos via non-regular, multi-vectored convection currents. In a preferred embodiment, the disclosed apparatus and methods prefer-ably utilize randomic vibration as an adjunct to systemi-cally administered drug therapy, most preferably intra-venously administered thrombolytic drug therapy.
L'invention porte sur un dispositif thérapeutique et sur un procédé destiné au traitement de troubles du débit sanguin. Dans un mode de réalisation, un système de réponse de première urgence pour le traitement d'obstructions vasculaires thrombotiques et/ou angiospastiques aiguës par l'intermédiaire de l'application non invasive de vibrations basse fréquence avec au moins une caractéristique, de préférence une pluralité de caractéristiques, de forme d'onde vibratoire administrée de manière aléatoire (ci-après appelée « vibration aléatoire ») est expliqué en détail. L'appareil et les procédés décrits sont basés sur l'intuition selon laquelle des vibrations aléatoires basse fréquence appliquées par voie transcutanée peuvent apporter une désagrégation de caillot améliorée et un mélange d'agents désagrégants de caillot à des vaisseaux thrombosés de façon aiguë, en raison de l'adjonction d'un chaos mécanique au moyen de courants de convection à multiples vecteurs non réguliers. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, l'appareil et les procédés décrits utilisent de préférence des vibrations aléatoires en tant que produit d'addition à une thérapie de médicament administré par voie systémique, idéalement une thérapie de médicament thrombolytique administré par voie intraveineuse.
