An improved angled annular deflector for angular flow distribution in a fluidized bed polymerization reactor. The angled annular deflector has an outer surface with a conical shape and an inner cavity along a central axis, said cavity open at both ends. The angled annular deflector being adapted to associate with a cone-shaped bottom portion of a fluidized bed polymerization reactor vessel and when in said association the outer surface of said angled annular deflector is at an angle to be substantially parallel to an inner wall of the cone-shaped bottom portion. This combination leads to increased optimization of fluid flow.
Déflecteur annulaire incliné amélioré pour la répartition de l'écoulement angulaire dans un réacteur de polymérisation sur lit fluidisé. Ce déflecteur annulaire incliné a une surface extérieure avec une forme conique et une cavité interne le long de son axe central, ladite cavité étant ouverte aux deux extrémités. Ce déflecteur annulaire incliné est adapté pour s'associer à la partie inférieure en forme de cône d'un récipient de réacteur de polymérisation sur lit fluidisé et, lorsqu'il est ainsi associé, la surface externe dudit déflecteur annulaire incliné forme un angle de façon à être sensiblement parallèle à la paroi interne de la partie inférieure en forme de cône. Cette combinaison permet une meilleure optimisation de l'écoulement de fluides.
