A liquid laundry detergent formulation is desribed including a surfactant, a polycarboxylate builder and 2-methyl-1,3-propanediol as a carrier solvent. A preferred builder comprises a non-hydrophobically modified, acrylic/polyether comb-branched copolymer, wherein the polyether portion comprises moieties derived from at least two constituents selected from ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, and butylene oxide. Preferably, the comb-branched copolymer is made with a process selected from: (i) copolymerizing an unsaturated macromonomer with at least one ethylenically unsaturated comonomer selected from carboxylic acids, carboxylic acid salts, hydroxyalkyl esters of carboxylic acids, and carboxylic acid anhydrides, and (ii) reacting a carboxylic acid polymer and polyether prepared by polymerizing a C2-C4 epoxide, wherein the carboxylic acid polymer and the polyether are reacted under conditions effective to achieve partial cleavage of the polyether and esterification of the polyether and cleavage products thereof by the carboxylic acid polymer.
L'invention concerne une préparation de détergent de blanchissage liquide renfermant un agent de surface, un adjuvant de polycarboxylate et 2-méthyl-1,3-propanédiol comme solvant de support. Un adjuvant préféré contient un copolymère ramifié en peigne acrylique/de polyéther, non modifié sur le plan hydrophobe, la partie polyéther renfermant des groupes fonctionnels dérivés d'au moins deux constituants sélectionnés parmi l'oxyde d'éthylène, l'oxyde de propylène, et l'oxyde de butylène. De préférence, on élabore le copolymère ramifié en peigne au moyen d'un processus sélectionné à partir (i) de la copolymérisation d'un macromonomère non saturé à au moins un comonomère non saturé sur le plan éthylénique sélectionné parmi des acides carboxyliques, des sels d'acides carboxyliques, des esters d'hydroxyalkyle d'acides carboxyliques et des anhydrides d'acides carboxyliques, et (ii) à faire réagir un polymère d'acide carboxylique et un polyéther préparé par le biais de la polymérisation d'un époxyde C¿2??-¿C¿4?. On fait réagir le polymère d'acide carboxylique et le polyéther dans des conditions efficaces pour parvenir à un clivage partiel du polyéther et à l'estérification du polyéther et des produits du clivage correspondants à l'aide du polymère d'acide carboxylique.
