A pest control door is shown for mounting on an inside of an outwardly opening exterior door. The pest control door includes a frame, which defines an opening, and a screen which covers the opening in the frame. The screen is fastened to the frame so that it make be broken off the frame in an emergency situation. The opening defines a space large enough to permit a person to pass therethrough. In the preferred embodiment the frame is mounted on an inclined over head rail to cause the frame to naturally return to a door covering position.
