This application concerns the use, for keratin fibers, of an oil-in-water emulsion in which the droplets of oil are smaller than 150 nm in size, including a amphiphilic lipidic phase containing at least one liquid non-ionic amphiphilic lipid at an ambient temperature below 45 degrees Celsius. This emulsion can contain significant amounts of oil without having the drawbacks generally associated with oils, such as a greasy, heavy touch.
