Embodiments of the present invention provide an apparatus comprising a display device (14, 240) for displaying graphical information; a processor (11, 210) arranged to control the display device (14, 240) to display the graphical information; a store (12, 230) for colour mapping information (20), said information (20) being representative of a relationship between orientation-related information of a trajectory and colour; a trajectory-colour module (490) for determining orientation-related information of a trajectory and a colour according to the determined information and the colour mapping information (20), said processor (11, 210) being responsive to the trajectory-colour module (490) to control the display device (14, 240) to display a graphical element at least partly in the determined colour.
