An automatic culture apparatus for culturing cells or a tissue with a biological origin in a culture container which is placed in a box-type culture apparatus having a closed and aseptic inner space, characterized in that a plural number of divided spaces, a gas incubator provided with a practicable window, a unit for supplying a liquid culture medium and a unit for discharging the same, a unit for monitoring the culture conditions, and a transferring unit for continuously or intermittently transferring the culture container toward these units are provided in the box of the culture apparatus, and at least one of the above-described units is equipped with an instruction controlling unit by which the culture apparatus is controlled under an instruction in the form of an electrical signal depending on a data signal generated by the culture condition-monitoring unit so as to prevent cross- contamination.
L'invention concerne un appareil de culture automatique permettant de faire croître des cellules ou un tissu d'origine biologique dans un récipient de culture placé dans un appareil de culture en forme de boîte comportant un espace interne fermé et aseptique. Cette invention est caractérisée en ce que la boîte de cet appareil de culture comprend une pluralité d'espaces divisés, un incubateur à gaz pourvu d'une fenêtre utilisable, une unité conçue pour fournir une substance de culture liquide et une unité servant à évacuer cette substance, une unité de surveillance des conditions de culture, ainsi qu'une unité de transfert permettant de transférer en continu ou par intermittence le récipient de culture vers ces unités. En outre, au moins une desdites unités est équipée d'une unité de commande par instruction destinée à commander l'appareil de culture au moyen d'une instruction se présentant sous la forme d'un signal électrique, en fonction d'un signal de données généré par l'unité de surveillance des conditions de culture pour empêcher une éventuelle contamination croisée.
