Provided is a multiaxial fabric comprising a first layer comprising a first layer comprising substantially parallel resin-free polyethylene yarns oriented in a first direction; a second layer comprising substantially parallel resin-free polyethylene oriented in a second direction, the first and second directions being skew with respect to each other; a layer, interposed between and in contact with each of the first and second layers, and comprising a thermoplastic or thermoset film; and a yarn interlaced transversely among each of the layers of the multiaxial fabric.
Cette invention se rapporte à un tissu multiaxial comprenant une première couche comprenant des fils de polyéthylène sans résine sensiblement parallèles orientés dans une première direction; une seconde couche comprenant des fils de polyéthylène sans résine sensiblement parallèles orientés dans une seconde direction, les première et seconde directions étant obliques l'une par rapport à l'autre; une couche, intercalée entre les première et seconde couches et en contact avec celles-ci, et comprenant un film thermoplastique ou thermodurci; et un fil entrecroisé de manière transversale entre chacune des couches du tissu multiaxial.
