An antibody which binds to the CD30 antigen and a) releases sCD30 from Hodgkin's disease cells to an amount of, or less than, 10 %and b) does not bind to B cell non-Hodgkin's lymphomas or plasma cells to a considerable extent is useful for the treatment of Hodgkin's disease.
