The present invention relates to methods for manufacturing nanowires and nanotubes by treatment of a fibre comprising at least one carrier material and at least one thermoelectrically active material or a precursor compound of a thermoelectrically active material; to a nanowire, comprising at least one thermoelectrically active material, having a diameter of <= 200 nm and a length of >= 1 mm; to nanotubes, comprising at least one thermoelectrically active material, having a diameter of <= 200 nm, a wall thickness of <= 30 nm and a length of >= 1 mm; and to the use of the nanowires or nanotubes for thermoelectric temperature treatment, for electricity generation, in sensors or for temperature control.

La présente invention concerne des procédés de fabrication de nanofils et de nanotubes par traitement d'une fibre qui contient au moins un matériau de support et au moins un matériau thermoélectriquement actif, ou un composé précurseur d'un matériau thermoélectriquement actif ; un nanofil qui contient au moins un matériau thermoélectriquement actif et dont le diamètre est <= 200 nm et la longueur >= 1 mm ; des nanotubes qui contiennent au moins un matériau thermoélectriquement actif et dont le diamètre est <= 200 nm, l'épaisseur de la paroi <= 30 nm et la longueur >= 1 mm ; ainsi que l'utilisation des nanofils ou des nanotubes pour le maintien thermoélectrique de la température, pour la production de courant, dans des détecteurs ou pour une régulation de la température.
