This invention comprises of an inflatable structure that is constructed by combining polyhedron structural elements to form more complex geodesic structures. The structural elements are constructed out of straight inflatable tubes, in which the warp of the polyester reinforced fabric is aligned with the principal tube axis, giving it high resistance to bending. The complementary leg ends are connected at the vertices with connectors that comprises a slider and track formation, fixed along the axial angle at the end of each leg. Each leg end is shaped along the natural complimentary lines along the intersecting surfaces of the adjacent structural element. Once assembled in combination with a fabric cover and groundsheet, the tent is stable and completely freestanding.
La présente invention concerne une structure gonflable construite par la combinaison d'éléments structurels polyèdres de façon à former des structures géodésiques plus complexes. Ces éléments structurels sont construits à partir de tubes droits gonflables, dans lesquels la chaîne de la toile de renfort polyester est alignée avec l'axe principal du tube, lui offrant une haute résistance au cintrage. Les extrémités de pied complémentaires sont connectées aux sommets avec des connecteurs qui comprennent un coulisseau et une formation de tracé, fixée le long de l'angle axial au niveau de l'extrémité de chaque pied. Chaque extrémité de pied est mise en forme le long des lignes complémentaires naturelles, le long des surfaces d'intersection de l'élément structurel contigu. Lorsqu'elle est assemblée et combinée avec une enveloppe et un tapis de sol de toile, la tente est stable et se tient de façon complètement autonome.
