A rubber dome switch assembly has a first contamination resistant sheet which overlies a circuit board upon which are switch footprints. The first sheetis apertured to expose the switch footprints and a second contamination resistant sheet overlies the first sheet and has switch closure pads on the underside thereof, each of which is adapted to bear against the corresponding switch footprint to close the switch. A third sheet is adapted to overlie the second sheet and has switch buttons formed thereon each adapted to bear against the second sheet to force the closure pad into contact with the corresponding switch footprint. A faceplate member overlies the third sheet. Means are provided for aligning the several sheets, all of which are separable from each other, and means are provided for clamping and holding the several elements together.
Tableau de commutation à touches protégées par des dômes caoutchoutés, comportant une première feuille résistante à la contamination et recouvrant une plaquette de circuits portant les empreintes de commutation. La première feuille est ajourée de manière à révéler les empreintes de commutation; une deuxième feuille résistante à la contamination recouvre la première feuille et comporte des coussinets de fermeture à sa face inférieure, chacun de ces coussinets correspondant à l'emplacement d'un commutateur. Une troisième feuille recouvre la deuxième, et comporte des boutons de commutation intégrés, chacun de ces boutons venant se superposer à un des coussinets de fermeture. Une plaque de recouvrement est superposée à la troisième feuille. Un dispositif facilite l'alignement des multiples épaisseurs, chaque épaisseur pouvant être séparée des autres, et un mécanisme de serrage assure l'intégrité des multiples éléments.
