The present invention relates to a method for the prognosis of a vascular event or the diagnosis of ACS in a patient suspected of being at risk for a vascular event or condition, said patient presenting: - no elevation of the ST segment as seen on an electrocardiogram, and/or - a normal level of at least one necrosis marker, wherein the presence and/or levels of at least two different biochemical markers are measured in a biological sample of said patient, whereby the probability that the patient will experience a vascular event or the vascular-related condition is deduced from the measured presence and/or levels of the biochemical markers such as MPO, sCD40L, IL-6, PaPP-A, CRP, D-dimer, troponin, and proBNP.

La présente invention concerne un procédé de pronostic d'accident vasculaire ou de diagnostic du syndrome coronarien aigu (ACS) chez un patient suspecté de présenter le risque d'un accident ou d'une condition vasculaire, ledit patient faisant preuve des symptômes suivants : - pas d'élévation du segment ST tel qu'indiqué sur un électrocardiogramme et /ou - un niveau normal d'au moins un marqueur de nécrose, sachant que la présence et/ou que les niveaux d'au moins deux marqueurs biochimiques différents sont mesurés dans un échantillon biologique dudit patient, ce qui fait que la probabilité que le patient fera l'expérience d'un accident vasculaire ou d'une condition liée à un accident vasculaire est déduite de la présence mesurée et/ou des niveaux de marqueurs biochimiques.
