A system for obtaining images (100) of the fundus of the eye includes an imaging illumination device (130) which directs a light beam onto a portion of the fundus of the eye, and a video camera (166) which records the portion of the light reflected from the fundus of the eye. The plurality of images from the different areas of the fundus of the eye are arranged by a computer (116) in a mosaic image representative of a section of the fundus including the plurality of areas.

L'invention porte sur un système d'obtention d'images (100) du fond de l'oeil, ce système comprenant un dispositif d'éclairage de représentation d'image qui dirige un faisceau lumineux sur une partie du fond de l'oeil, et une caméra vidéo (166) qui enregistre la partie de la lumière renvoyée depuis le fond de l'oeil.
