An apparatus for generating a representation of a bandwidth-extended signal on the basis of an input signal representation comprises a phase vocoder configured to obtain values of a spectral domain representation of a first patch of the bandwidth-extended signal on the basis of the input signal representation. The apparatus also comprises a value copier configured to copy a set of values of the spectral domain representation of the first patch, which values are provided by the phase vocoder, to obtain a set of values of a spectral domain representation of a second patch, wherein the second patch is associated with higher frequencies than the first patch. The apparatus is configured to obtain the representation of the bandwidth-extended signal using the values of the spectral domain representation of the first patch and the values of the spectral domain representation of the second patch.
L'invention porte sur un appareil pour générer une représentation d'un signal à bande passante étendue sur la base d'une représentation de signal d'entrée, lequel appareil comprend un vocodeur de phase configuré pour obtenir des valeurs d'une représentation dans le domaine spectral d'un premier morceau du signal à bande passante étendue sur la base de la représentation de signal d'entrée. L'appareil comprend également un dispositif de copie de valeurs configuré pour copier un ensemble de valeurs de la représentation dans le domaine spectral du premier morceau, lesquelles valeurs sont fournies par le vocodeur de phase, pour obtenir un ensemble de valeurs d'une représentation dans le domaine spectral d'un second morceau, le second morceau étant associé à des fréquences supérieures par rapport au premier morceau. L'appareil est configuré pour obtenir la représentation du signal à bande passante étendue à l'aide des valeurs de la représentation dans le domaine spectral du premier morceau et des valeurs de la représentation dans le domaine spectral du second morceau.
